Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 2026
The MCC Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the MCC Application Portal. We respect your privacy and are deeply committed to protecting it. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you apply for our 100% scholarship programs, attend our classes, or engage with our placement-support services.
1. Information We Collect
To effectively evaluate and train candidates, we collect the following categories of data explicitly:
2. How We Collect Data
We collect data directly from you when you submit applications, upload resumes, write code on our platform, or participate in interviews.
We may also collect engagement data automatically via secure authentication cookies to keep your session logged in and ensure fair assessment tracking across our infrastructure.
3. Why We Use Your Data
As a non-profit foundation, our sole motivation is your successful career transition. We use your data to:
- Process applications and verify scholarship eligibility.
- Track your technical progress across frontend, backend, and AI modules to provide highly targeted mentorship.
- Share anonymized or explicit-consent candidate profiles with hiring partners to securely facilitate placements.
- Highlight success stories (only after successful placements and explicit opt-in via our promotional terms).
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We never sell your personal data. Because we are a fully sponsored program, your data is never monetized. We only share it with:
- Internal Foundation mentors and core staff to deliver technical training and support.
- Exclusive hiring partners and tech recruiters exactly relevant for your specific software engineering placement.
- Secure cloud providers handling our application portal infrastructure.
5. Data Security
The MCC Foundation employs industry-standard safeguards to protect your applications. This includes strict role-based access controls for instructors, database encryption, and secure HTTPS connections across our entire portal. You must also proactively protect your account passwords and not share portal access with others.
6. Account & Data Deletion Rights
You may request to access, correct, or definitively delete your applicant or student data from our internal systems at any time, provided you are not currently actively enrolled in the tuition-free cohort. If you withdraw your application, your data can be purged via a direct email request.
Please note we may retain minimal records of past applicants and graduates purely for long-term internal accreditation and historical demographic tracking.
